Guadalupe Fonseca-Molina

guadalupe-foneseca

Hometown: Mexicali, Baja California

Guadalupe has lived in the Hardy River area of the Mexicali Valley for more than 30 years. He worked as a hunting guide, which allowed him tol eran the región and all of the diverse sites of interest. Since 2004 he has worked with the Sonoran Institute on habitat restoration activities in the Colorado River Delta. His interest in birds and birding arose from these two activities (hunting and restoration). In 2010 he participated in the SJV Bird Guide Program and since then he has lead approximately 60 groups of adults and children. Guadalupe enjoys sharing his knowledge about birds and restoration with visitors to the region so that they learn to value and take care of the Delta’s resources.
